Here’s another article in gameplay series that focuses on Diablo 3 Witch Doctor gameplay. Witch doctor, just like others, is again a fun class to play with a gameplay that is distinct in its own ways. Witch Doctors summon souls and creatures that fight for them on their behalf. They have some seriously annoying status inflicting skills that make them a very tough opponent to deal with. They are equally good in leveling up as well.
Diablo 3 Witch Doctor Gameplay Features
Here are Diablo 3 Witch Doctor gameplay features summarized and explained.
- Pets: Mongrels, zombies, bats, spiders and loads more. Witch Doctors summon several different types of pets to assist them in battle and fight for them. They fight for you until dead and can be spawned over and over again.
- Elemental Attacks: They have very good elemental attacks – similar to that you find in Wizards. Elemental damage is extremely important when used at right times on right opponents as they give a huge damage boost.
- Curses: They have tons of curses and ill effect status skills that give you a huge advantage and crowd control abilities. In PVP especially these skills make Witch Doctors a must have in any team.
- Battlefield Control: Again, extremely good AOE skills and crowd control skills. These make them extremely good at leveling up and PVM as well.
Diablo 3 Witch Doctor Gameplay PVM
This Witch Doctor gameplay video has always been my favorite one to share with my readers. Check out this amazing killing streak by Witch Doctor in beta gameplay. This can demonstrate how fast and effective they are when it comes to Crowd Control and leveling up. Pay attention to skills, Mana consumption and Health as well to get an idea of usage of these attributes in a real tough battle.
Diablo 3 Witch Doctor Gameplay PVP
I don’t have any good PVP gameplay video for Witch Doctors yet. I’ll share one as soon as I find one that is worth sharing. The video demoed by blizzard shows a Witch Doctor and Barb loosing a PVP match, which I’m not really interested in sharing as it only shows Wizard gameplay in action and not Witch Doctor.
